fuel lines 2001 Kawasaki Prairie 300
While trying to fill up my 2001 Kawasaki Prairie 300 with gas this weekend I noticed the fuel leaking out from several points, I panicked a bit and pulled lines trying to clamp hoses. I got the machine home pulled the gas tank to drain remaining gas, and figured there is no better time to replace all the fuel lines. Unfortunately I did not pay close enough attention to where the hoses return to.
Quick description of what confuses me. The gas tank has two outlets, I’m assuming supply the petcock. The petcock has three inlets/outlets. Not sure which lines from the fuel tank go to on the petcock and which inlets. On top of that I have found three inlets/outlets on the carburetor, two on the side, and one on the bottom. From what I can gather the outlet on the bottom is a drain tube not positive. then I’m not sure which lines go from the fuel petcock to the carb and which inlets.
I hope all this makes sense, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
