Default 2002 honda 350 rancher 4x4 shifting issues?

so i just got this rancher 350(manual shift) and it is having shifting and clutch problems. i re-adjusted the clutch, and that solved some of the problems, but the clutch still sometimes doesent disengage and it is sometimes very difficult to shift, and twice now it has stuck in reverse even though the pedal moves and feels like it's shifting, it stays in reverse. and, when you shut down the engine, you can hear the clutch slowly wind down, like the bearing is dry. and, when i took the cover off, i found some small metal pieces in it. im ordering some new clutch springs, that will hopefully fix the clutch problems, but what about the sticking gears? at the moment i have $600 total into a great running, okay driving machine with 2 brand new tires, should i just dump it for a couple hundred profit and get something with fewer problems? thanks ahead of time!
