Default Leaky front axle boots.

I have a 2008 Kawasaki Brute Force 650 with leaky front axle boots on either side. What kind of a fix do I need and how much will it cost to fix?

The CV boots contain grease. There cheap to buy and its just part of the sport to have to replace them if when they rip.

They last longer with aftermarket boot protectors.

Lots of good Videos on how to do it on youtube. Don,t worry about finding a video on you model ATV because they are done the same way on all of them.

Here is a good video on it.

Thanks for the information it is much appreciated. I checked the boots and they we not ripped but leaky around the inner and outer part of the boots. Can a body take a grease needle and insert grease through the boot itself, then seal the needle hole, instead of having to pull the axles?

I wonder if the boot clips/claps backed off or loosed some how. Never heard of a boot without a rip or hole leaking.

I would not play with a small hole in the boot. Boots are cheap but the CV joints they keep sand, water and mud from getting to are expensive.

Thanks again, common sense works for me. I'm new to this atv and just learning the ropes. I need to inspect the drive belt any pointers on that would be appreciated
