Makes sense since the new Scrambler is the same ATV in every way as the XP850 but with different plastic.

You should be fine if just towing a small trailer with a few mowers and such. And if you mount a small sprayer to the wheeler some states will classify it as a farm implement so no issues on public roads that would otherwise be off limits to a wheeler...

Not familiar with the new scramblers, but a Sportsman 4x4 will do what you need. If you are worried about stopping you are better off in 4wd anyway.

That's a good question but I don't think I've ever seen a setup on an ATV to provide brakes to a trailer. I would be interesting to see, though.

Neither have I. All it would probably take is to get hubs with an electric brake setup for the trailer and wire it to the brake lights.

That's what I was thinking; just never seen it before and not sure how much power they would draw.

I have no idea. I bet if you asked at a U-Haul center or other place that does trailer work they'd know.

I bet you are right. Might be handy to have brakes on the trailer if towing a heavy load like lumber, a broke ATV, etc...
