No surprise there - the Ram has been about the only real redesign for 2010. While the TOTY thing is basically a good idea, the field of new or major redesigned trucks is so small that it's pretty easy to pick the winner.

A couple of years ago the contenders were the new body style Silverado, Sierra, Avalanche and the Caddy version of the same truck. There was one other - maybe the Suzuki rebadging of the Nissan truck, but that was it. Five trucks is a pretty limited choice, especially when it's really only three.

I lost my faith in Dodge when my "half million mile" Cummins diesel in my 2004 Ram 3500 blew with a whopping 116,000 miles on it and neither Chrysler or Cummins wanted to do anything about it.

I don't know if I'm ready to trade in my 06, but I've been patiently waiting for a 2010 dually laramie quad cab to show up at the local dealer...

Kinda wondered about the security comment.

Someone tried to steal a Dakota we used to have. Broke the door handle and the column, but never did get it to start.

Not a big Dodge man.. Never been big on the looks of the big grill design. But I guess I can't discount the pulling power. Next time I need to pull a house.. I might be intersted.
