Default Transporting ATV/UTV

Using straps or rope or winches to lock your ATV/UTV down for the highway can be scary at best. Turn one of those 400 to 1000 pound metal monsters loose going 50 mph and your in for lawsuit city. There's great tiedown systems out there which can provide extra comfort zone and security when hauling. The ATV Mighty TiTe System, Louisiana Guard dog just to mention 2. It only takes one time to mess up and you can stick a fork in it cause your done.

Wow thanks for the heads up on some great products. And yea I must say. I see people using their winch to hold their quad down all the time. I say never never never do that, its not safe and the planetary gears cannot handle the shock load from the big bumps. They were designed for steady load application

A buddy of mine used the wench on his JD Gator as the only means of tie down. Destroyed the wench after a few thousand miles like that

Agreed, quality ratchet straps anchored to the proper location and checked during travel has never failed for me.
