I have a Suzuki Eiger. It is hard to start and when it starts it will idle for about 30 - 60 seconds then it will die. It was siting for about 2 years and the carb was really gummed up. I took off the carb and cleaned it with carb cleaner and an air compressor. I also took the spark plug off and it was black.

Also, the pull start is hard to pull sometimes it is stuck and i cannot pull it, but electric start does work.

I am wondering what the problem is.

 

Fresh gas,good flow to the carb? Still sounds like a jet could be stopped up. I put fresh gas in and it was flowing out when i took the carb off.
