Polaris vin number issue

Default Polaris vin number issue

I have a polaris xpress 300 vin number *2951273* can someone please help me find out what year it is

The vin number will be 17 digits of combined numbers and letters. So you are missing a great deal of the vin number yet.

I think much older quads had a shorter VIN, like 11 digits or something like that. You don't even have that. Where did you find the number?

I finally called a dealership and that is the correct vin number.these were built in Canada so I guess that would explain that.thanks guys.

US models had a W96,97 series numbers,etc on one side of the down tube and the etched serial number series on the back side of the down tube. Don't know how machines bound for Canada were marked.

More than likely the Canadian models have an EH....somewhere in the vin as you know Canadians always start or end with "eh" when they speak. LOL
