Imback, SWEET SHEE!!!
Those 125's are a pain! My neighbor/good friend has a 2000cr125 w/ about everything bolt on possible and he stays about 1-2 lengths behind me until I hit 4th(he weighs about 50lbs. less than me too). I don't even try to go barking up the 250's trees, mess around w/ those and you'll bite of more than you can chew.

Well if you know how to ride a small 2 stroke you can make it go fast. I have a RM-80 and it beats all 300ex's and is very close to most 400ex's. 2 strokes have to be maintained well...and kept in the powerband. If yours is poorly maintained or just has slight problems it will lose a lot of power. Or if you are saying SNAIL just to be stupid, I guess thats okay also. I rebuild 2 strokes, so im pretty good at knowing what they will do. Gearing is a fun way to make an 80 really accelerate. But you then limit top speed to only about 50 then. My lightly modded 80s will keep up with most quads up to about 45 MPH. One will ride with the front up so easy its scary. That one is actually stock with modded gears.

There were a couple of tracks in Illinois where the lap records were set on 80cc cheater bikes [like 110 or 115cc]. Byron Motorsport Park's record was set by Tom Hoffmaster [if I remember correctly] who races Nationals and Arenacross on a cheater 80. So they move.

YEAH ...dont rip on a 80CC bike ever.....they have a great power to weight ratio. Remember they weigh about 140-150 lbs for the bike, so even a lightly modded one will have a better ratio than a larger bike or quad. A bored out 80 (which can really be from 82-85 to begin with) can be made into a 110 that will scream with a pipe and hardly anything else. AND IT WILL Beat most quads. Nothing to be embarrassed by..just simple physics. More power to weight. I own a KING QUAD and damn a lot of slow things will beat me. But my Quad with all its utility stuff and options weighs just a tad under 700 lbs, and with 280 CC....it goes good for work and casual driving, but dont wanna race anyone with it...LOL'
