kodiak 450 clutch/primary sheave cam. slider direction?
I've taken apart my primary sheave on my '03 450 Kodiak. i didn't notice which way the cam sliders are supposed to face. they are NOT symetrical. one side is wider/square/flat. the other side is more curved. so does the wideer/flatter part face down, towards the rollers (to hold in more grease??); or other way around?
ALSO, how much wear should there be on the sheave where the rollers ride? It's very shiney where the rollers ride, and then there's a slight ridge. should this ridge be taken out and smoothed down?
thanks to anyone who knows.
