front brakes on 1999 big bear 4x4 350

Default front brakes on 1999 big bear 4x4 350

can anyone hlep me out here please ,i have all new brakes and new cylinders and pistons on my atv and i have bleed the brakes ,but i still have know front brakes ..the levers on the handles have nothing ,,no brake at all .what am i doing wrong here .ohhh and i also put new fluid in too. down and out here ,please help !!!

How did you bleed them? The first thing that comes to mind is that you didn't bleed them properly, or still have a stubborn air pocket trapped in the line. We were having trouble like this with my cousin's rear brake on his quadracer and even when following the proper procedure to bleed them it didn't build any pressure. We took it to the shop and it took him 3 minutes to get the air pocket out with a vacuum bleeder.

Air would be my guess too. When I did my wife's Bear Tracker, it took a lot of pumping and gravity feeding to get them bled to the point the brake lever had some resistance. Later I bought a MightyVac and it is now a cinch to bleed any brake system.

hi thk you for the help ,i haven;t gotten time to try and bleed the brakes again,but i hope that will solve the problem .
i was just wondering where did you purchase the vacuum bleeder ,i have not had luck in finding one anywhere .i live in canada,just wondering where you purchase yours ,thk you ..

You should be able to get one at most auto parts stores.
