Default Lift Kit Questions????

I am new to the forum, but I have been checkin out and readin things on this forum for a few weeks now.I see that most of the guys on here are very helpful and seem to really know what they are talking about.
About my question, basically I have talked to a few people locally and I have been told that a lift kit will destroy my new bruin, is this so ? I have put on the 25" swamp fox tires for now,but I want to do a full 27" big foot kit with some black wheels.I need some info on this subject.
Also about these wheels and tires, for a big utility, does it matter if I go steel wheels or should I do aluminum wheels.I like the ITP sport-Beadlocks,what do you think?
I have added a few things already in the 4 weeks that I have my atv, such as a jet kit,Fmf exhaust, and tires and a better filter,so I am willing to spend the extra few dollars fro more power and torque,so please give me some good suggestions on a decent set of wheels.
Also if there are any more good upgrades that I am missing out on b/c of my little knowledge on this subject, let me know b/c I am always looking for some more power (which is still dependable)for my ATV.
Thanks for all the info in advance.

Default Lift Kit Questions????

one thing to always keep in mind is the transmission was not designed for that, however this seems to be the latest craze so i would deffinately go with aluminum. you need to make it light as possable to balance the extra stress of tires and joints.also a clutch kit works wonders.hope it helps

Ok,cool.Another thing my atv is an automatic. Can I still get a clutch kit and where do I get it? Will this help on my low end torque.I had a guy at the dealership tell me that it wouldn't do me any good. You say it will,so where can I get one for a 06 350 Bruin?

I have a 06 bruin and I dont think the engine or the CVT tranny has enough power to turn 27" tires. Of course it can 'turn' them but I think it will be too much work for it. Biggest tires on a bruin ive heard of were 26.

you can get different brand if you want. What I mean by 'full' is I have them all. I have the yamaha ones. So I'm sure I paid more then other brands. However, I did buy them from moto grid
I think it was 70 for A arm guards, 70 for bash, 90 for engine and 90 for rear differential, something like that. Richochet makes a engine/bash guard one piece for 130. One piece bash/engine
I basically got the yamaha bash and engine because the engine skid had the pre-drilled holes for my plow ....yes lazy
