700R not fast enough....
I'm totally confused on why the Raptor 700R doesn't run away in the speed department. Come on it's a 700...& all the 450's can keep up & some even beat the Raptor 700. KTM's 525xc is hands down faster.... forward or reverse. I'm a great supporter of Yamaha but it's a shame that the 700 is too slow for the amount of cc's it has.

the 450s are fast because they run alot high comp than a 700. the reason they didnt put high comp on the raptor is for reliability. i wanna see any 450 outrun a big bore raptor 700.
cant wait to see how the 907cc big bore kit rocket inds. is putting out soon runs.

A Raptor 700 with the 3-mods will walk away from a piped/jetted/air filter YFZ.
I haven't raced a KTM so, won't say anything about that.
If you are comparing a YFZ with a pipe to a stock 700 then you aren't comparing apples to apples.
All this being said. . . what do you want to do with your bike? I'm a duner. The big-bore is great. Less shifting, tons of torque, more comfortable, etc. The YFZ is a great bike but, wouldn't be my personal choice as a duner. . . that's just me.
