Default Opinion on YFZ450 rebuild

My brother blew up his 05 450. So we are stuck trying to figure out what to do. What would you guys do for parts for a complete top and bottom rebuild? I want to know about a crank kit, piston, head, valves, etc. Also, we were told that the head is toast, so are there after market heads or do you have info on where to get a new one, or reliable used? Thanks for your help.

my crank/wrist pin seized on a '06...i got a after market crank, and a JE high comp. piston, the cylinder was egg shaped by about 3~5 thousand's of an inch which is way to far outta spec so i got a cylinder also, besides that stuff i got the oil mod kit, and it's ran like a champ since...just make sure you change your oil alot.
