I've got an 06 wolverine 450 thats bone stock, and was thinking about putting 25's on it. Will 25's make it lose some power?

yes 25s will make it lose some power so you might want to get a clutch kit from epi for use with the oversized tires.

I'd say it would depend on the tire and how much it weights. Just going to a 25" tire won't rob you of much power since this engine/transmission combo comes with 25" tires on everything but the wolverine. You will gain some top end speed (thought your speedometer will say otherwise) and gain ground clearance. I'd say if you can afford it get a second set of wheels and tires (what I plan on doing) and swap them out when the weather calls for it. The Maxxis Zilla will be my pic since they're really light and look like a great tire.

The ITP Holeshot ATR's are really light (very close to factory rubber). I love em.

They're actually not that light honestly. The Mudlite XL, Dirt Devil II and Interco Swamplite are all lighter than the ATRs and they're not even the lightest 25" tires on the market.
