They're old technology, so they're not up to par with the 400's. Not as fast stock, not as stable for cornering, and they're heavy. I guess it depends on what kind of riding you will be doing, how serious you are about riding, and how much you want to spend.

They are not near as slow as some would have you believe. Mine wont keep up with my freinds Z400 on a straightaway but Ive yet to be outrun by a Blaster or some of the other retarded things Ive heard here. Mines an 87 and the handling was terrible. A Raptor 660 rear shock and Z400 fronts made a world of difference. For hillclimbs like we have in Fl (lots of rocks roots ruts and turns) I actually prefer to ride my warrior over his Z400 the torque is incredible for a 350cc motor. If the price is real good then its worth it but Ive seen Z400s go for less than $2000 on Ebay.

I suggest buy the warrior and sell the truck..... well depends on what kinda dodge it is, j/k the warriors are good bikes, not near as up-to-date as some of the new ones, but I could spank my buddies 400ex, well atleast until last night... see another tread.

I bought a 96 Warrior brand new back when I was 14, still have it, and plan on keeping it forever. It's been a fun and extremely reliable machine. I have alot of great memories on that machine. The riding experience isn't always about being the fastest or newest or having the most mods. It's about having fun and I guarantee you will on the Warrior.

They are way too long. Requires brackets. Made them myself from 1/4 inch galvanised steel. Took some work to cut and grind the metal to fit right. was worth it though the shocks cost around $100 and made an incredible difference in handling. Has a tremendous amount of up/down travel in the front. I made my brackets as tall as I could so it didnt raise up and narrow the front any more than I had to.
