yzf 450 vs Raptor 700?
Yamaha makes different machines because they're built for different uses. The YFZ has a high revving engine, stiffer suspension, and is designed for racing. The Raptor is built to be a better all-around machine that is comforable to ride all day, has lots of torque, and isn't as maintenance-intensive as the 450's. Plus it's got reverse.
Bottom line, they're both good machines, and depending on what you're using it for either one can be better than the other.

i think i raptor 700 is the best all around quad ever made. the yfz450 has it place also. if you do track riding and like to jump a ton get the yfz450. lighter more nimble bike and i whould get the raptor over the yfz if you do trail riding. yamaha raised the bar when they brought both of these bikes out.

yzf 450 vs Raptor 700?
Well........I ride trails.....nothing too gnarly, VERY mild jumps, and retarded amounts of wheelies. I have a 99' Warrior that's in real good shape........but I've had it for 2 months and have outgrown the power. I could build it via thousands of dollars....and then, I'd have a really fast (for what it is) 99 Warrior that cost 3/4 of a new bike.
Are there any problems that the 700 has?
What kind of bolt on gains can I expect from..........full pipe, power commander, alum. airbox, clamp on K&N?
