first problem with 07 wolvy 450
i was about 3 miles in deep woods and everything was great. stopped for a break and shut it off. turned the key on and hit the start button, it made a weird loud click from under the seat and then everything went dead. tried turning the key off and back on. nuthin. opened the seat up and was messing with the cables and wiring under there, turned the key back on and everything came back on. tried to start it and it did the same thing. ended up getting pulled out by an arctic cat.i tried jumping it and it still doesnt work. you cant get the lights or anything back on unless you try to mess with the wiring under there. once it does, if you try to start it then it goes dead again. ill take it to the dealer tuesday and let them figure it out and tell me the waranty doesnt cover it so i have to pay. this sucks

check all your connections and make sure they are clean, dry, and not loose. if it's not that you might need a new battery or cylinoid. also check for any cracks or places where the wires maybe rubbing on the frame that can cause it to ground it's self out.

Im glad im not the only one with that problem. My ground cable was loose on the battery and that was causing it but it did it to me this weekend and everything was tight. I wiggled some wires and everything worked. as long as it does not happen to me during a race im not too worried about it.

got to work today and i was mad cause its supposed to snow here tonite and the dealer isnt open today to look at my bike. so i made it my mission to fix it myself. it was the negative battery wire going to i guess a relay. it was loose but just barely. it took me all of 2 min to figure out the problem and to fix it. then i got mad cause i could have done that on the trailand didnt figure it out. oh well let it snow
