Whats the Best Oil??
Yeah i was reading the manul on my 06 YFZ 450 and it recomends Yamalube 4 but i looked in the RockyMountainAtv catalog and they sell just plain Yamalube so will that work in my bike ok??/ Or will any Yamalube thats made for an ATV work with my 450.. Or do i need to make sure its an Yamalube thats for high performance engines or is all Yamalube have the damands for high performance engines... Im sorry about having so many questions but i know how important it is to have the right oil since thats the life of your engine... Please tell me your opinion and let me know what you use...... I WANT TO USE YAMALUBE since i have a yamaha but i know that you cant go wrong with using yamahas products so i dont think i would use any other type of oil...

What do you recommend as far as oil changes and filter changes with Amsoil 0W-40 synthetic?
Same as the operator's manual, or does one use a different schedule? Thanks. I would think that if the oil will run lots longer, the filter ought to be changed sometime in between the oil changes..?

"Full synthetic" is better oil than "Dinosaur" or a rip off "semi synthetic" that only has 10% synthetic oil in the mix. At least with conventional or synthetic blends oil its one and ONLY advantage is a lower price, but when its sold as a OEM oil from a dealer like Yamahalube or Honda GN4 it still has the high Full sythethic price tag but not its quality.
Its like when my friend whent to a Honda dealer to buy a spark plug,,the single plug came in a small Honda red box with the Honda logo and company crest on it for some high price for a single plug. He opens the box and out comes a "NGK BR9ES" that you can buy in sets of two at any store for half the price.
ATV Manufactures don,t make spark plugs or oil or tires or batteries.........so on and so on....
