Default Hard to start in cold weather

Well, It is now march 1, I made it through the winter wit hthe griz 700 cold starting problems.
I started out this year with regular oil and i kept havingcold starting problems. It would chug and sound like it is running but wouldn't be. Or it wouldn't turn over fast enough to start it.
I went to my dealer and they said yamaha came out with a new Synthetic oil that was supose to help with cold weather and all season. I told them I would try it last week we had weather at -32 deg F. I went to start the Griz and it turned over fine and started. It was a record cold temp.
If you were having problems with the cold start Oil is the main cause of it.

Default Hard to start in cold weather

I've had trouble in the winter with the stock NGK plug. Changed to a splitfire and all my cold starting problems went away
