Default Spraying Stock Wheels

I know this is gonna said cheap but i got a 2 wheel drive big bear and have recently bough rear chrome ITP type 4s for the rear because i needed 12" for my tires. Now the fronts are still the stock gray color and look horrible side by side with the rears. Has anyone just sanded down wheels real good and using chrome spray paint with clear coat before? I dont care much for high quality but just to match better. Any suggestions?

If you sand blasted them real good I don't see why it wouldn't work. The paint might chip if you hit the rim on something but other than that it should work.
