Is there any way i can unhook the reverse rev limiter? If that screws me up in a mud hole one more time i am gonna loose it. If I get in any hard spots it won't back up

There are many different ways to do this mod. All yamaha utes have the same wiring code, so same wire on yours as the grizz has.
I suggest doing some sort of switch, so it can be made safe again, in case a kid or inexperienced person rides it.

You have to start by taking off the seat and getting to the cdi box. Go to the third plug and find the green and yellow wire. Splice into the wire and run a wire to a switch and from the switch to the neg. on the battery. Turn the switch on overrides the rev, turn off and your back to stock limiter. Any problems email me

Hey Beanis, is there anyway you could take pics while your doing this mod? I am thinking about doing the same to mine.

Thanks,
Forrest
