Im looking at getting a quad and i dont know wat to get. I ride trails and feilds and the roads somtimes. My friend has a banshee and i want to keep up with him when were on the road or threw the trails. Any help would be awsome

 

im a true beliver in the 660...i mean my friends got one of them pure drag banshees and its like an inch off the ground and stretched out dual fmf gold seires phattys..ect. but the banshee is kick start(no way im kicken for ten minutes on a cold morning if not longer) and 2-strokes i hate because u have to keep'em reved up at all times..my 660 u can kinda putt around but if i hit (twist) the throttle the power is there..and with a banshee lowerd like that its impossible to go through trails. my rappy is lowered a bit but not like that...and im not gunna pre-mix my gas

 

lol yea those cold mornings do sucks wen we want to go riding, I just got back from the yamaha dealer ship and i was looking at a 09 YFZ and that thing was SWEET. I have heard really good things about them. I just want somthing that is good for trail riding (fast trail riding, up hills and feilds) and somthing that would beat my friends banshee so i can shut him up.

 

ya..i no lmao he is sittin there kickin and kickin and mines warmin up and hes gettin pissed at me and tells me to kick it and i got on it and kicked it twice and it started lol
but ya my friend john-david has an 07 or 08 yfz and its nice
its got a full drd pipe and he took and sent the motor in to them or wat ever that thing is and has like the mod box and like drd everythang...(nice 4wheeler) but its no match for my 660 in the trails or drag

 

I vote for the 660. A lot less headache and less to break down in the woods. Plus you don't have to tote around a pocket full of spark plugs, a spark plug wrench, and a perfect 8 ozs of oil so you can get exactly 2 gallons at the store. You 2 stroke guys know what I'm talking about.

 

If you don't want maint. on the YFZ get a 700 raptor!

 

that banshee is going to kick your *** unless you get somthing really mean,

the 450's should outhandle the banshee and out trail it too, but it wont keep up in a straight line or when he gets on the powerband.

You guys that kick and kick... ever hear of a pop start?!?!

 

+1 on the 660. i only owned one 2-stroke and thats a blaster, and yes they are a pain to keep up and running. the kick start never hurt me but i would suggest a electric start if you want less of a hassel.

 

well my 660 would beat a banshees *** on anythang...mostly any highly moded 660 is the best all around performance wise atv..and the yfz's are nice i like'em and the same for a 700 raptor.. the yfz is more powerful than a stock gytr rappy
but what i like about the 700 is its not so high geared..

and deathvalleyreaper do u own a 360?

 

Get banshee and pipe it.
