Default yamaha blster

i just rebuilt my blaster bottom end and carb it will start and idle but when i try to open it up it only opens a little past idle speed

Your jets maybe blocked or the needle is not set right or maybe even the cable is not set right

i put new jet etc in the carb im thinking about doing away with the tors thing on top of the carb i also ordered new reeds because there is a small gap between the reed and the cage i dont know if it is supposed to have any gap at all or not

Yea you might have to pretty much make everything new cuz there is no sence in leaving old pars in a rebuilt carb
