Default slipon/full exhaust

I have a 01 Raptor 660r, im not sure about your lean/rich problem, as far as it not starting, my 660r will not start right now either, we have replaced the starter motor with no evail, i have been reading and it looks like my problem is going to be the starter clutch, seems like ALL raptors 01/02 have the starter clutch go bad, just a thought.

The main reason for the post is that, i was just going to let you know that i have a full yoshimera exhaust on mine and it sounds pretty good, it is super fast but mine also has a K&N air filter, a race cam in it and some other stuff done to the motor. I bought it like this so im not sure how much each individual mod made as far as power. Although i also have a 06 Honda TRX450r and it is completely stock, personally i think that my honda sounds better than the raptor and so does my husband but it is stock, other than whoever had it before me took the baffel (i think thats how its spelt) out. but the raptor is much faster than my trx. The other thing is that i have not put an exhaust on my honda due to the fact that i have heard that if you do anything other than a slip-on you have to have the carb jetted, so you may want to look into that before buying a full exhaust. The powersports place even told me not to buy a k&n air filter unless i have it jetted ?!? Not sure that i helped you at all but its worth a shot.

hey thanks! for that post, i don't really like the sound of the muffler but it's okay but still i have a new shock absorber and k&n air filter. I asked a mechanic if you have to jet it, he said no. I don't know still. I need a new exhaust fmf and i hope that i get a yfz 450x one day but right now i'm upgrading to a raptor 250/350. I ride the 660 sometimes. I've heard that the starter clutch and the tranny is bad on these years. I hope nothing happens to it yet. Well.... thanks for sharing.
