Default Wolverine 450 - braided brake lines?

Hi all, I just wanted to see if anyone has switched out their stock lines with braided lines, particularly the rear line. I thought I heard some people saying awhile back that replacing the rear brake line would help do away with some of the squishyness back there.

Anyone know of a brand that makes braided lines for this machine?

I don't have that machine, but generally braided steel lines will eliminate a lot of the "spongy" pedal feel you may have. Chances are the line could be sourced from another machine, just need to figure the length and make sure the fittings are correct.

Interesting. I guess that makes sense that any brake lines should work as long as they fit. One question I have is that the rear brake is actually controlled by a cable, so the cable actuates the hydraulic brake mechanism down by your foot brake. There is a line that goes from the hydraulic mechanism to the brakes, and one that goes to the fluid reservoir. Would I only have to replace the one that goes to the rear brake?

I don't actually see ones specific to this machine. I guess I'll have to measure the length of the stock OEM one, unless you guys know the length of the line?

Well I changed the brake fluid over Christmas break and it needed to be changed. However, the rear brake is still really weak. Does anyone have this machine or similar, Kodiak I believe, where they fixed this problem? Will an upgraded brake pad work? The brake lines are OEM but look pretty thick and rugged so I don't think getting steel braided will help.
