Default 2001 Blaster Suspension

Hey guys i ride a 2001 Blaster.
And i need to get some good suspension in it, and i am wondering what do you guys suggest. I do not have a lot of money so anything that is kind of cheap and still really good would be nice.

I am a hard rider hitting jumps, the place i ride at has bump after bump. And if you need to know Croom in Florida is where i ride at.

Thanks for all your help!!

mine has a 250r rear that made a big diffrence its way smother of a ride im not much of a jumper so i cant speak on that side it seems a lil soft for a bigger rider its fine for me at 130# i got it off ebay for about $30 an had to grind on the mounts to make it fit but it wasnt hard and for the front banshee shocks are a direct fit and are a lil better than the stock blaster shocks. any of the 450 front shocks will also fit with
+2 or +3 a-arms and a lil modification to the mounts

i copied and pasted this from another site seems fairly simple to do

Honda 400ex, suzuki ltz 400 and Kawasaki 400 shocks right these are basically the same shock and all work really well they will raise your back a bit but not to much. your have to mount them by bending the air box so you can fit the resi in, you have to drill out the bottom mount to the blaster bolt dimensions and make a custom brushing for the top as their bolt is a bit smaller than the blaster's and it is near impossible to drill out the top mount for the blaster pin to fit. However this is a brilliant shock for a blaster and is well worth the hassle

Well i really dont want to grind anything down or stuff like that, because it is mostly my dads bike. i might look at extended arms for bigger suspension though.

i believe that all banshee shocks are the same. you can also use a diamond j widening kit for the 400s that suposedly makes them a direct bolt on i believe, but that kit changes the geometry of the suspension and that isnt a good thing in some peoples eyes(jumping would be where they will fail to be trustworthy in my opinion) i dont trust it myself but its always a cheap option to the +2 aarms and the grinding i had to do for the 250r rear was all on the shock none on the blaster itself the top is just a lil bit too wide to fit into the blaster and the bottom is a direct fit

OK well im going to be honest with you i am 15 years old so i don't have a grinder. lol And i do not know of anyone that has a grinder, but i will still have to ask my dad.

Just to make sure most 15 year old teens on a ATV are crazy, i am not like that i am responsible. So i dont hit the jumps hard and i dont go full throttle at my ATV park.

Thanks for all your help.
