Default New 95 Big Bear - Suspension Advice?

Just got a real clean Big Bear from a family member that owned it since new. My first quad!
It feels like the idle circuit is clogged so I'll get a rebuild kit first. The cargo racks are scratched so I'm going to pull & paint them, & polish up the plastics while im at it.
The big job is going to be freshening up the suspension. I'd like to replace all the shocks & bushings, which will let me repaint the a-arms as well.

If I add a lift kit will I have trouble with my drive line angles? Since I'll be replacing the shocks anyway can I get a lifted spring instead rather than relocating the shock mounts with a kit? Or are there shocks from a different model that would bolt on while providing a bit of lift?

I don't want to get too far from stock, just want to freshen it up.
Thanks!
S.
