ok, have an 01 blaster. I put on wheels/tires on the back, accidentally messed up the chain adjuster, but i finally figured it out and got it adjusted again.

Now. When i pull the clutch in its still pulling. Ive already adjusted it several times at the handel bars.

Looking down, theres usually 2 bolts. I usually losen 1, adjust the other, and tighten the other.
But i dont see that here. Cant figure out why it keeps coming out and how to adjust it majorly..
The fine tuning up top aint working...

Any help

Ok first of all how much slackdo you have in your clutch handle ? 1/8" to 1/4" slack should be perfect. Now what type of oil did you put in the transmission? It must be wet clutch oil only. Any other type will not work and can cause the simptoms you are describing.

For the more in depth adjustment, pull the clutch cover (Buy a new gasket before you do this). The adjustment bit you seek is inside that cover..... You will want to adjust it carefully so you don't over do it. You want it tight so you don't have to get in there again soon also.

No slack you said???? You will need slack [freeplay] to make sure the clutch is fully released!!!![engaged to pull].
