Default 2-inch receiver

I made a 2-inch receiver for my grizzly 550...started with an idea of what Yamaha wanted 80 bucks for (and I was too cheap). Bought the 2-inch ID tube at Harbor Freight (bought 12 inch and cut it in half), welded a piece of inch and a quarter angle iron across the back that bolts up to the tubes going up with U-bolts, welded a half inch bolt on bottom that fits right down through the factory hitch. I drilled holes in the flat part of angle iron and put a clevis on each side of the hitch so I could hook a winch hook through them...Spray painted black and bolted on for about 25 bucks! I can post a pic if anyone is interested in seeing what all of this mumble-jumble actually looks like (just have to take a pic first)!

Purchased an oxlite front bumper and universal winch plate, mounted it on the front of my quad so my winch does not get soaked everytime I hit a mud hole. Original winch mount sites on top of front skid plate.

Cut a rubber mallet head off of handle. drilled hole through mallet head. it is now a rubber bumper for my winch hook.

A-arm guards and handle bar clamp with integral horn switch. Silver vein powder coated all of it, looks and functions great.
