Banshee bogs mid to top end please help
Hello, im new here and to my Banshee, im about 1,070 feet above seal level and me banshee seems to have a loss of power/bog mid to hi end, Power band kicks in great, only thing i know is it has 170psi on both sides, v force 2 reeds and spacers, cool head, pro curciut exhaust, and clamp on K&N filters. I pulled the main jets and they are a 148.. does anyone have a good baseline jet size i should start out at or be at with my mods and at 1,070 feet? Plugs are just starting to look brown..
Sorry forgot to say i have 30PWK carbs..

The dealer here has no clue LOL. However i did drop the main jets down to a 140 and it runs great other then when i hold it WOT it loses power after a few hundred feet. But after letting up and hitting it again she pulls hard..Plugs look good. I dont know much about the PWK30 carbs but everyone i talk to says they are junk and ill never get them tuned right. Sounds funny to me but im also told that where other carbs are running 310 mains the PWK30 carbs will be in the 150 range. Does anyone have any info on this and why?

Simple things first! Clean air filter A dirty one will make it seem like it runs rich, and when ever it boggs at top end it ussally is a rich mix. My atv is much older but if yours is a throttle slide on the carb, adjust the needle on it to be leaner. Play with it a little bit and see if you get a better top end response ( no bogs)

I clean my filters everytime I ride it. Moved the needles up and down.(middle possision seems to work best) The bog has gone away only problem I'm dealing with now is after about 300 feet at wot it just falls on its face till I let up and hit it again. Thanks to all of you for your advice.
