Default newby with 2001 wolverine 350

I have just traded one of my race polaris jet skis for a 2001 wolverine 350,
I runs pretty good and the kids love it,
I have been wrenching on jet skis for 8 years now and wanted some tips on what I should do to keep this yamaha running good?

general maintenance items? how often?
weak points- something to really keep an eye on?
strong points-

any and all information would be greatly appreciated,

thanks,

I had a 95 wolvy that was all time 4x4 and the u-joints in the front drive shaft were replaced twice in the five years that I had it! Keep grease in them if it has a grease fitting! Rear brake never worked very well on mine and parking brake was non-existent!! Other than that, mine was a bulletproof machine!! The 4 wheel drive was great and the sporty feel was even better!!

Bought my 95 Wolverine new ran it for 15 years, nothing bad to say about it, only difference between the 95 and the newer ones is the CV carb, other than that, a great sport ute that is a blast to trail ride, I even rode the dunes 3 time on mine, Silver Lake twice, and Little Sahara once. Just watch the foam seal on the air cleaner, crappy design, needs to have grease smeared on it and make sure you get it in the slot so the lid can hold it in place, or it will suck dirt past. I also put a filter from the tube on the cam cover to the air intake, it is a straight shot into the motor for moisture and dirt, don't know what Yamaha was thinking there. 2 things I did to make mine a little better, after market filter mount so you can use a clamp on, and the Warn 424 front driveshaft disconnect, you can pull a lever, 2wd, lot more fun on the trail, then push it back in for 4wd. That.......and the Fourstroketech 446 big bore/stroker kit I put in when I wore out the motor, but that is a big bunch of cash, could have bought a new motor for less, all said and done.

The 350 Wolverine has the title of being the lightest 4wd ATV ever made 485lbs, it was even lighter then the 250 class 4wd that use to be made like Yamaha's 250 Timberwolf 4X4,Polaris 250 Xplorer 4x4 and Suzuki Quadrunner F250 4x4.

Its even lighter then most 300-350 2wd ATVs.

Great Bike, A Warn 4 wheel drive disconnect will make it even better if you can find one. I highly recommend it.
