I belive its a 1994 Yamaha Timberwolf, He is bring it by saturday for me to go through, Its a 4 stroke engine, Not sure on milage if it even has a meter (Not to knowledgable in ATV's), Any problems these are known for? Any areas to check? Its not running, I will be checking the compression first. Anything else i need to worry about? He says it was running fine last year. Thanks in advance

 

my grandfather used to have one of those, he traded his moto 4 225 for it and bought it brand new. He loved his 225 so he thought the 250 would be great, he said it didn't have anywhere near the power and would get stuck all the time and the 225 would go anywhere. He wound up trading it in after 2 weeks and buying a big bear 350. I have never really heard much good about the Timberwolf... but if it's a good enough deal it would be good atv for kids or learning on, ice fishing, etc.
