Question EPS and my 660 Grizz

I have a 02 660 Grizzly and I want to put the power steering from a 700 Grizzly on it . I get everything but the wiring harness .

Has anybody done this ?

Can this be done ? How can it be done ? Do I have to change any frame peace or add to it ?

I will have all components except wiring .

I know a guy with a 700 Yamaha Rhino who added power steering later on so I quess its possible with a ATV.

I think Highlifter makes kits for $1250 accorrding to these guys 660 POWER STEERING!!! - Yamaha Grizzly ATV Forum
At $1250 the ATV better be very hard to steer or you have one arm to make it worth it.

i've never done it- but I think you're looking at more trouble than it's worth.
i believe the eps also ties into the ecm- it does on the can-am & polaris anyways...

X2 your need the ECU also plus other sensors not worth doing IMO . With it being a 10 year old machine it would be more practical to trade up to a 700 that's already equipped with the power steering option .

Thumbs up

Yes you guys are right . I should just treat myself to a new one. This 02 grizz has never let me down and I guess that's my big reason for looking at adding a few things .
