One of the best atvs every discontinued. It was and is the lightest 4wd ATV every made, even though it had racks!
It was even lighter then the smaller 250 4x4 they use to make. It was even lighter the most 2wd 350s and as light as some 2wd 250s.
Its greared tall even its 1st is more like a 2nd grear for most ATVs but the ATV can hit 55mph while the 350 Grizzly/Briun 4x4 or 350 Big Bear 4x4 with the same 348cc motor are lucky to get to much over 45mph.
Very dependable motor, been used buy Yamaha for 20 years in motorcycles and ATVs like Warrior/Raptors/Big Bears and Grizzly/ Briuns.
The 400 newer Big Bears is still the same motor just bored out or stroked ,I forget.
If its in good shape ,Id grap it.
Only down side I know of is "full time 4wd" but its not that noticable while trail riding or slow riding.
