Default Yamaha Banshee tors

Why do a lot of people take the tors off their banshee? I don't have them on mine but I don't get why everyone is taking them off

The tors ( throttle over ride system) is just a safety feature they put on banshees that will cut out ignition in the event of the slides sticking open and an out of control over rev situation. I think it works by knowing if your thumb throttle is in idle position but yet your throttles are up, which would be your slides...its really un needed its known to fail and can cause a vast variety of dumb problems with your bike cutting out and acting stupid.
