Default could use alitle help with my 02 660r

Bike has been running great. Piped it out. Jetted and cold air box..today i rolled it and ate some serious dirt. After i rolled it back ovsr i let it sit a min. Now when i ride it back fires like crazy and boggs down at half throttle. Also the back brake light is blinking when i hit the throttle. Kinda stumped. Any suggestions. Thanks guy

Hmm try to clean the air filter that would be the reason, another thing check your plugs it should be reddish brown in its tip. About the brake light seems like its grounded somewhere.

The backfiring could be you messed up your parking brake sensor on the clutch perch, it has 2 wires going to it. If it's still there I would just bypass it anyway. If I remember right, you have to tie the wires together to make it run correctly. Same thing with your brake light, there is a light sensor at the foot pedal and at the handlebar lever for the front brakes, there are 2 wires going to each sensor and something is shorting out, I would bet it's on the handlebars.

Thanks guys for the imput. The bike took a hell of a tumble and yes the air filter is clean...lol. its somethinh more. Gonna look into that sensor. Think i might have knocked the carbs out of sync. This is my first 4 stroke so all kinda new. Im a 2 stroke man. Love my 250r,s. Is it hard to sync the carbs. Again thanks guys any bit of info helps. The dealership wants alot of money to look ay it. I figures if i can build cars i can handle this. Lol

Also make sure the carb didn't come loose from the intake boot, that was a problem on the earlier 660's. I wouldn't think you would need to "sync" your carbs, they should have already been setup properly before the tumble with the correct jetting. I don't think the 2 carbs are as sensitive as the Banshee was.
