What class do are you planning to be in? You're going to need as much horsepower as possible to offset your weight (I have the same problem, I'm 6-1" and 225 lbs) if you want to be in 1st place, so a Banshee or 450 or Raptor 700 or any machine with a high horsepower-to-weight ratio might be better.

As for drag racing, serious racers put the lightest driver, or "jockey" or their ATV to make their ATV get to the finish line as fast as possible. It works!

im not really worried on class i just want something that would handle the track better but i don't really want a huge motor because with a huge motor comes a bigger frame and more weight im a Honda guy but im testing the waters and yes 1rst would b nice but hey you cant always win lol

Yeah I usually lose drag races even when my 4 wheeler is actually the faster one lol. Every pound counts when you're only pushing 30-40 HP. I'd rather lose the race than let somebody else ride my 4 wheeler though lol!

Thanks, it's basically a YZ250 engine, it will run about 65 mph - WAY too fast for 3 wheels! I actually sold it because every time I rode it, I wrecked it. I was trying to ride it like I rode the one I had when I was 18 (18 years ago), but that didn't work out so well. I'm too old and don't heal up as fast as I used to lol!
