Been wanting one of these for a long time. I haven't owned a 2 stroke since I was a kid, but feel I could handle one with a little practice. I currently ride a 2013 Honda 400X which I love and fully intend to keep, but want something to go fast on and for those more open trails I ride where I find the 400 lacking in power.

I plan to buy a stock 'Shee, would never buy one with backyard mods outside of maybe a pipe, but that's it. How reliable are these things in stock form? What's the best 2 stroke mix to use that maximizes engine performance and longevity? I would prefer to find a 2000-2006 model, what years are best?
