Default 1996 kodiak 4x4 question

New to forum, so hi everyone,
Looking at a Kodiak that person said they were riding and hit a log.
Quad locked up. took rear driveshaft out and ran front wheel drive
Question is, is the drive shaft bent, or is there read diff problems?
Any ideas would help. They had it looked at and got a 1000.00 quote to fix,
if that helps. Thanks in advance

Do you think it needs a rear diff also?
Drive shafts aren't that hard to put in, but I don't
about the rear diff?
