Shouldn't matter to much, just rejet it so it has what your beartracker normally has. Or you can find one on Ebay for sure, just watch for one to some if there isn't one right now.
Or if your carb isn't bad but its just clogged you can try a carb rebuild kit. I get mine through Dennis Kirk, or you can go to your local yamaha dealer and they will have one.

let me know if that helps

Should not matter. I know a guy who blew up his 425 Polaris that uses a 34mm carb. He found a used 500H.O motor and runs it but still uses his old 36mm carb from his old 425 motor.
The 500H.O uses a 40mm carb stock. He told me he did not even have to change jets.

Make sure your airbox and air filter is properly sealed. I had "carb" trouble and it ended up being to much air intake. Your much better off just taking the carb off and getting it cleaned. If you dont feel like doing the cleaning your self bring it to a dealership.

i had a backfiring issue with my 96 timberwolf, so i rebuilt the carb. it was still backfiring under partial/full throttle.

i then spent an arm and a leg on a new carb. still backfiring. the darn stator was shot. i sold my rebuilt carb on ebay and got back half the price of the new one. not a bad deal lol
