Default Help choosing one of these three tires

Hey all --

I'm looking at buying a set of new tires for our 2005 Kodiak 450 4x4. I will mainly be using it at the lakes edge. I race jetskis and I will be using this around the race sites where theres no launch ramp, etc. Sometimes there are ramps, but not often. A lot of times it's just a mud/dirt ramp. I want to make sure that I get the right tires for this thing given what we will be using it for. Sometimes there will be a lot of sand, etc and mushy mud but then away from the water there will be hard packed dirt roads and stuff. I've tried to pick three sets of tires that I think might be the ones and I was hoping to get some additional direction from people that know more about these things that I do.

Tire Set #1:
Amazon.com: Set of 4 New WANDA ATV Tires AT 25x8-12 Front & 25x10x12 Rear /6PR P390 - 10227/10228: Automotive Amazon.com: Set of 4 New WANDA ATV Tires AT 25x8-12 Front & 25x10x12 Rear /6PR P390 - 10227/10228: Automotive

Tire Set #2:
Amazon.com: Set of 4 New ATV/UTV Tires 25x8-12 Front & 25x10-12 Rear /6PR P341 -10157/10159: Automotive Amazon.com: Set of 4 New ATV/UTV Tires 25x8-12 Front & 25x10-12 Rear /6PR P341 -10157/10159: Automotive

Tire Set #3:
Amazon.com: Set of 4 New Premium WANDA ATV/UTV Tires 25x8-12 Front & 25x10-12 Rear /6PR P375 10212/10215: Automotive Amazon.com: Set of 4 New Premium WANDA ATV/UTV Tires 25x8-12 Front & 25x10-12 Rear /6PR P375 10212/10215: Automotive

If someone could give me some pointers on why I would choose one over the other I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

-Alli

Here's what I would pick if I had a Kodiak, with the free shipping they actually cost less than 2 of the 3 you listed and the bearclaws are a great tire.
Amazon.com: 2 FRONT 25-8-12 & 2 REAR 25-10-12 ATV Kenda Bearclaw TIRES: Automotive Amazon.com: 2 FRONT 25-8-12 & 2 REAR 25-10-12 ATV Kenda Bearclaw TIRES: Automotive

Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't sure how good of a tire any of these manufactures are so I couldn't decide on my own. Thanks again for the suggestion, I'll take a serious look at these ones.

I've never heard of Wanda before today. I would personally go with the third tires. Remind me of Uber Rockers or Pitbulls. Great all around tire. These all look like ripoffs of other makers' tires. First set looks like Ancla Abuzz. Second is pretty generic. Third, as mentioned, look like Ubers.

Here's a good deal on another good choice, Sedona Mud Rebels
Amazon.com: 2 FRONT 25-8-12 & 2 REAR 25-10-12 ATV MUD REBEL TIRES: Automotive Amazon.com: 2 FRONT 25-8-12 & 2 REAR 25-10-12 ATV MUD REBEL TIRES: Automotive

I've never heard of Wanda tires before either. That doesn't mean they might not be good tires, I just prefer to go with something that is proven to be tough and perform well. Maybe if they were a lot less expensive and that was a big selling point but in this case they're pretty much the same price. All the ones you picked and the 2 I mentioned are all around $300 for a set of 4 including shipping.

Out of your first 3 choices the only difference I see is #3 has a taller 26mm lug. over the other two that are 20mm.
Not sure what that is converted to inches.

The Bear claw is a 13/16th inch tall lug.

The mud rebel lug I,m not sure of.
I know the Mud rebel (RT) is a aggressive 1-1/8th inch lug but the ones above are just the normal Mud rebels at that price not RTs.

1 inch=25.4mm, so 26 mm is slightly over 1 inch. I suppose if you want the bigger lugs, you're going to have to pay more. I think the bigger 1 1-8 tread mud rebel r/t only comes in larger tire sizes and not in the 25" size. The mudlite xl comes in a 25" size with 1 1/8" tread but at a slightly higher cost but they do weigh less than the 26mm tread wanda tires.
Amazon.com: Full set of ITP Mud Lite XL 25x8-12 and 25x10-12 ATV Tires (4): Automotive Amazon.com: Full set of ITP Mud Lite XL 25x8-12 and 25x10-12 ATV Tires (4): Automotive
The mudlite xl's are a great mud tire and still not too bad on harder packed trails.

If that is the case his #3 choice does not look to bad.
1" lug 6ply for $300 is not bad.

After reading some reviews, I'm a little hesitant on getting the Wanda tires. Heard one person say they were like driving on egg shaped wheels and that they had to over inflate and put in the sun for them to round out properly. I don't want to mess with any of that so I'm considering the Sedona tires. Now if that type of problem is somewhat common with all tires of this type then maybe I'll try the Wanda. Hard to say though because I'm the type that likes to go with something that is known to work well and it looks like the Sedona tires will be that at this point. I won't be able to spend any more than $300 shipped so I'm somewhat limited.
