Hi guys I'm thinking about buying a 2010 grizzly 550, the guy wants $5500 here in Canada and I think thats ok but he emailed me the kilometers are 1500 but it reads 20 because he had to replace the dash, it blinked out ,It seems a bit suspicious ,has anybody heard of the dash and electronics needing to be replaced?
It looks like a clean machine but...?

If your saying the owner is thinking the ATV has about 1500km miles on it, but now it only reads 20km miles because he changed the digital display ( if thats what you are saying ) then sounds like he may be trying to be honest with you. Are you concerned that it may more than 1500km on it? Yes, the displays can fail.

 

Yes I'm just wondering if this is normal for the display to fail .
Haven't gone to see the machine yet but thought I would check here if it seems normal as I myself have never heard of one failing.
Do you or anybody hear no what I should be looking for if it is a high mile machine ?
