Default 1993 Timberwolf engine rebuild

I'm needing help. I have the engine all tore down. I noticed this seal was laying on the bench. Were does this go?

Can't help you....your manual doesn't provide any info on that particular part?

The clutch cover seal is still there. I'm thinking it came from inside the motor from somewhere.

You'll either find it when you start to put it back together or it could be like some aftermarket kits I've seen that have extra parts that may be used on an earlier or later models.

The problem is I didn't buy a kit. It came off the motor from somewhere as it's still on the bench. Just need to know where it goes. The picture was for reference.

I've only rebuilt 350 Yam engines but it looks like the oil gallery seal, can't remember if it goes between head and cylinder or cylinder and block, but fits round one of the studs.

Like Merryman said, it looks like the seal on # 9 of the attached cylinder head picture. Also look at the other picture with my finger pointing at the location where it goes on my Big Bear 250...
