Spark plug wire

Default Spark plug wire

Do I have to replace the whole coil unit to replace the plug wire?

No, the wire should screw out of the coil.....CCW.

Most auto stores have 7mm plug wire in bulk that you can buy what length you need. I always kept a roll of it at the shop for people that burnt wires on exhaust pipes,cut them,etc.
