The ATV is geared to tall for large tires. That's why a 350 Wolverine can hit 55 mph yet a 350 Briun and Big Bear can only do 45 mph even though they have the same motor.

I've seen them with big tires but its a machine that was never designed for that. Some company probably makes a gear reduction system like many people put on old Hondas because they didn't have enough power to turn larger tires. By the time you do all that, you might as well have just sold it and buy something with more power. The one accessory addon that you could buy for the Wolverine 350 that was very useful was the warn front axle disconnect. It converted the Wolverine from full-time 4x4 to push button selectible 4x4. I'd just put more aggressive stock size tires on it and a winch. The winch will prove to be more useful in getting you through the tough stuff than power-robbing oversize tires.

Raising them up can create many other issues as well, are you willing to do a LOT more maintenance on your atv? When they get jacked up it creates a lot more wear on suspension and steering parts, wheel bearings, arm bearings etc. Then you will want to go deep muddin which is fun but adds considerable to the maintenance once again. It will also become quite top heavy and the handling will suffer so you will need to slow down where most are looking to go faster. A couple friends went thru the jacking it up phase but after all was said and done they wish they had not spent the money, ended up selling their machines at a loss and went back to stock. Just some food for thought here.........
