Check the battery and connections out first.Check/drain fuel if you suspect it of being a problem. If it still acts up,might be time to go into the carb with a new kit.Shindy Carb Carburetor Repair Kit for Yamaha YFM350R 04 08 03 322 | eBay

It has a jet kit in it with a hmf slip on I forgot to mention tht I never tore it apart to see what the setting were because it ran fine but one other problem I noticed was when the engines hot it revs or idles really high

Again load test the battery and check connections as a bad battery can cause problems. If you've eliminated this, then if rpms still rise when it gets warm,it could be running lean on jetting or you may even have an air leak. When it revs up you can spray some wd40,contact cleaner around the intake manifold, head and base gaskets and see if engine rpms drop.If it doesn't then I'd crack open the carb.

Take the carb apart and clean, blow out the jets and write down the # of each jet. If you don't have an inline filter add one. Once you get it back and running , do a couple "plug chops" to verify your not running too lean. I'd err on 1 size richer main jet.

Tightened up battery connection clean all connectors put jump pack on to jump start it fires right up throttle response is there now but backfiring n popping in carb is still there
