Default big bear squats in rear when pushing backwards

Hey guys I have a 1989 big bear that is in near mint condition, with one problem.. when I roll it in backwards with the gearbox in netruel it rolls good for 10 feet then the rear of the quad starts to squat and is really hard to push. My first thought was the brakes so I completely removed the front brake shoes and rear brake pads and still have the problem. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?? Thanks

Next thing I am going to inspect is the transfer case ujoint. If any one has a 1989 ish big bear 350 can you please do me a favor and go roll it in netruel forward and backwards 15 feet and see if you experience any resistance or suspension squatting.
Thanks

I don't know if I can help you here....probably not.. But I can't see any logical reason that any ATV would experience what you are unless the ATV has an axle/bearing issue. You say you have removed the front AND the rear brakes....right?

Yes brakes are disconnected also something I forgot to mention is when I lift the the quad in air and spin the wheels there is no resistance at all and ever thing is smoth. But I will inspect the bearings thanks.
