91 yamaha moto4 250 oil change?

The only kind of oil I could find at my local hardware store that has JASO on in is Rotella T 15w40 diesel oil. But I have read that 15w is bad for cold starts apparently?
If its the only JASO rated oil I can find should I just use this or just use a non synthetic 4 stroke motorcycle oil?
Unless someone else sees a kind of oil on Home Hardware that they know has a jaso rating? I looked at every damn bottle and only seen it on the one but the writing is so damn small its hard to tell!
Just because 15w40 can work doesn't mean its the best for your engine.
