Default Big bear steering play?

I noticed my 91 big bear has some play in the steering if you pull upwards. Side to side there is no play.
Any ideas what would cause this?

All I could think would be tie rod ends or ball joints or maybe a worn bushing in the steering shaft. If you absolutely can't find what you need on eBay, etc, you could go to a machine shop. I had bronze bushings machined for an old Polaris, worked like a charm.
